Recent news of a documentary, which will air on EPIX TV network July 17th, about 1996 explosion that brought down TWA Flight 800 offers “solid proof that there was an external detonation,” its co-producer said. “Of course, everyone knows about the eyewitness statements, but we also have corroborating information from the radar data, and the radar data shows a(n) asymmetric explosion coming out of that plane — something that didn’t happen in the official theory,” Tom Stalcup told CNN’s New Day.
All 230 people aboard TWA Flight 800 died
.. when the plane, headed for Paris, exploded and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean shortly after takeoff from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. Scores of witnesses observed a streak of light and a fireball, giving early rise to suspicions that terrorists had struck the plane with a rocket. Investigators concluded the streak was likely burning fuel streaming from the plane’s wing tank.
If there is proof of misinformation about the cause of this incident, the airline industry should be outraged as it lost Billions of dollars in unnecessarily modification of current fleets, premature retirement of older aircraft, loss of revenue and paying a higher cost for new aircraft with upgraded fuel tanks. All due to FAA enforcement actions and directives.
There private jet industry also suffered as similar FAA directives made most long range VIP jets to disable their auxiliary fuel tanks until additional (FAA approved) modifications or upgrades are installed.
There may be air carriers that went out of business because this. They could easily prove the cost of compliance with FAA directives, resulted from such misjudgment or incorrect reporting by NTSB accident investigators on Flight 800, was a major factor in loss of their business.
Well, lets hope this documentary will not change our view of the NTSB’s credibility. We will know after this documentary is aired on July 17, 2013.
The Australia’s 60 Minutes TV program did a documentary on Final Moments of TWA Flight 800. A must see:
